This luxurious bathroom was inspired by a Pinterest photo. The window in the background is new. It overlooks the backyard fire pit. At the flip of a switch, the glass turns frosty for total privacy. The bathroom is designed for aging in place with a wall mounted toilet featuring a heated bidet seat, radiant heat and "floating" walnut cabinetry.

The dominant feature of this bathroom was a six foot long makeup bench. To the right of the counter were the toilet and a cast iron tub. At the opposite end of the room there was a pedestal sink. Though most of the elements were original to the house, they were beyond repair which gave us the license to build this period-appropriate replacement.
