VINTAGE HOME

My wife asked me, "Don't you have a better picture than this?"

Sure I do. But this photo captures the end of a very long day removing the chimney from my daughter's house. It was a filthy, grueling job and I found it to be invigorating. Because at the end of the day, I could see that I had made a difference. The home we envisioned was slowly taking shape.

I started my path into home renovation decades ago. I attended the University of Virginia, first in the architecture school then the commerce school. I graduated with a degree in accounting. A few years later I earned an MBA from UVA's Darden School.

I've had a fulfilling career in business. Mostly small business, mostly software, though I had a few stints with Corporate America. In 2017 I decided I'd had enough of conference calls and performance reviews. That's when I obtained my builder's license and started Vintage Home.

Vintage Home gives me the opportunity to do work that I love in service of clients that I truly enjoy being around.
